STEP RIGHT UP and you will see my odd and unusual finds and discoveries. Illusions, jugglers, magicians, mind readers, fire eaters, snake charmers, human pincushions, puzzles,regurgitationists, riddles, UFO's, curious and off beat information, stories, videos and anything else that I may dig up during my travels.

A STRANGE ILLUSION
If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color, pink. If you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating if you're lucky! It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see.

HUBERTS MUSEUM, which was located on 42nd Street in the Times Square area of NYC was one of the most fascinating places in the Big Apple. When I first came to NYC, in my teens, Hubert's was one of the places where I spent many hours, and I got to meet and know most of the performers who appeared there..like Congo- The Jungle Creep, Prof Heckler(sp?), owner of a real FLEA CIRCUS and the list goes on..I loved it there, and the book you can find at the link below captures the flavor of Hubert's which is now only a memory.
